All writers have assumptions and beliefs that govern what they publish. The beliefs that underlie my writing are as follows. . .
I believe that the triune God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — is the Creator of all things and rules over all heaven and earth.
I believe that the Word of God found in the Old and New Testaments is the only rule of faith and practice for believers.
I believe that man is made in God’s image and called to rule the earth on His behalf, but that man’s fall into sin marred his image and cursed his efforts toward dominion.
I believe that salvation comes by grace to all who who trust in Christ alone, and that this redemption leads to a life of faithfulness and good works for the glory of God.
I believe that the church is the new humanity, and has been entrusted with the gospel which brings about the renewal of all creation.
I believe that the authority of Jesus Christ as the King of kings is comprehensive, and that every nation is called to submit to Him through baptism and observe all that He commanded.
I believe that since God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save it, that the day will come when the earth will be as full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
I believe that as believers abide in Christ they participate in bringing about the new creation and experience peace, hope, and joy.
